6Simplex is a GIS software development company and is looking for a Content Manager to manage and implement our content strategy that is based on our products and is relevant to our customer base.
Experience
3+ years of experience as a Content Manager, Content Strategist or similar role.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related disciplines such as Graphic Design, Fine Arts.
Requirements
The right candidate for position of Content Manager at 6Simplex must have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a strong command of grammar and language suited for Indian and international audiences.
- Ability to explain things to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in content strategy development and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging, SEO-friendly content across digital and print platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), social media tools and basic knowledge of HTML.
- Familiarity with content distribution and amplification strategies, including social media advertising and influencer marketing.
- Experience using analytics tools to monitor content performance and make data-driven decisions like Google Analytics.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- An analytical mindset to interpret data and metrics and optimize content performance.
- Cultural understanding and sensitivity to tailor content to our target audience’s preferences, interests and nuances.
- Ability to remain self-motivated, proactive and to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of content marketing trends, audience segmentation and personal development.

Responsibilities
As Content Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, target audience and brand identity.
- Drive brand awareness, engagement and lead generation through strategic content marketing.
- Create and manage the editorial calendar to generate and deliver timely content.
- Create and distribute high-quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company’s style guide and voice across all content deliverables.
- Manage and maintain content repositories, including CMS, and ensure content is organized and easily accessible for future use.
- Research industry trends, market insights and competitor analysis to inform content development and identify opportunities.
- Spearhead efforts to gather and present information that’s relevant to the company’s web-based content.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers and other stakeholders to oversee the content creation of visually appealing and multimedia-rich assets.
- Work with the marketing team to understand the company’s brand identity, target audience and key messaging.
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify content opportunities, conduct market research and create engaging and informative content that resonates with the target audience.
- Track web analytics to determine engagement levels of content.
