Job Description:
6Simplex is looking for an experienced Lead Marketing and Communications Executive to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online and offline marketing efforts.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication or Business Administration.
Requirements
The right candidate for position of Marketing and Communications Executive at 6Simplex must:
- Have proven experience as Marketing Executive or similar role for an IT products company.
- Have capability of communicating complex ideas in simple terms. Superior writing and speaking skills are a must.
- Be capable of expanding marketing efforts across the globe.
- Have a technology background and understanding of IT Products.
- Have an understanding of enterprise technology. Experience in the GeoSpatial domain will be a plus.
- Have 5 to 10+ Years of relevant experience and be well-versed in the concepts surrounding online and traditional offline marketing.
- Be experienced in creating and executing Marketing strategies.
- Be able to organize information using Market Research principles.
- Be ready to travel across the country and abroad.
- Have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Demonstrate good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
- Possess excellent negotiation, communication and people skills and decisions-making skills.
- Be familiar with social media and web analytics (e.g. Web Trends).
- Have thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.
- Show creativity and commercial awareness.
- Demonstrate strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Have the ability to build a team.
- Be organized and oriented.
- Be passionate about all things marketing.
Responsibilities
As a marketing Executive, you’ll need to:
- Identify potential customers and build bridges between them and 6Simplex.
- Build and develop customer relationships and help identify business opportunities
- Understand the real needs of present and potential customers and their readiness for change.
- Create awareness of products and capabilities and develop the 6Simplex brand.
- Represent the company at national and international conferences.
- Create marketing plans, advertising and direct marketing strategies and campaigns and implement them.
- Organize and coordinate Product and Services promotional activities.
- Prepare and maintain all promotional materials.
- Maintain leading edge awareness on market developments, promotions, materials, technology, etc.
- Carry out analysis of the overall competitive landscape, identifying key markets and trends.
- Develop a detailed database of potential new customers/clients for the business.
- Arrange introductory meetings for senior management and prospective customers.
- Bring innovative ideas from customers to help improve company product offerings and user experiences.
